Location: Yeovil

Work Hours: 9:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday-Friday (Flexibility available)

Salary banding: up to £45,000

Position

We are looking for an experienced Trust Practitioner to join our well-established Private Client Department at our Yeovil office. You will be part of a friendly team of professionals with varying levels of experience, from apprentices to experts with over 20 years in the field.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about Trusts and Tax who wants to contribute to a highly respected team in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Trust Accounts and Trust Tax Returns
• Complete Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Estates and Individuals
• Manage Capital Gains Tax reporting
• Preparation of IHT returns
• Work closely with Trustees and colleagues to provide expert guidance

Requirements

• Essential: ATT and/or TEP qualification
  
• Desirable: AAT (or equivalent)
  
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Trusts, Estates, and Charities
  
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and with great attention to detail
  
• Excellent organisation, problem-solving skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude
• Experience with Digita tax software and Troika WealthWorks Accounting software (preferred)
