Battens Expands its Private Client Expertise

Battens, one of the largest law firms in the South West, is pleased to announce the appointment of Lesley Eveleigh, Senior Associate managing the Yeovil Private Client team.

Lesley worked as a chartered accountant before retraining as a Chartered Legal Executive with Batt Sanders and Bennett Solicitors.

Lesley brings with her more than 16 years’ experience in private client work administrating estates, trusts and powers of attorney, setting up charitable trusts, working with the court of protection and drawing on her background in accounting to advise clients on tax issues, including capital gains and inheritance tax and is looking forward to working alongside Battens’ growing team of private client specialists.

Ms Eveleigh said: “I’ve lived in Yeovil for most of my life and Battens is a name that I have always associated with the town. It is an honour to work for the company.

“I pride myself in the personal service I can provide to my client. Client care is very important to me and I like to build up a good relationship with all my clients.”
