Battens Solicitors is delighted to announce the expansion of its Family Law team, reflecting the firm’s commitment to providing exceptional legal services and supporting professional growth within the team.
Robin James, based in the Yeovil office, joins the Family team specialising in finances on divorce and separation. Robin is dedicated to providing the best possible outcome and to make the legal process as smooth and stress-free as possible. Prior to her legal training Robin worked for Children’s Services for 8 years and is a committee member of the Dorset Law Society.
Amanda Dorey based in the Dorchester office, also joins the Family team specialising in children’s matters. Amanda brings a breadth of experience enabling her to assist and advise her clients with compassion, empathy and professionalism.
Keeva Flynn, based in the Dorchester office, joined the Family department at the start of 2024 as a Paralegal, supporting the team in children’s matters. Keeva has worked in law for 5 years and is currently studying for a master’s degree in child law.
Chloe Cowling, based at the Yeovil office, successfully completed her training and qualified as a solicitor in September 2023. Chloe brings a wealth of knowledge to the role having previously worked for Citizens Advice and her appointment as a Solicitor into the Family team is part of a broader initiative at Battens Solicitors to recognise and nurture talent across various departments.
Rebecca Bond joined Battens Solicitors in 2022 and was promoted to Paralegal within the Family Team this year, working out of Yeovil. Rebecca brings an abundance of knowledge and experience to the role, having worked in the legal profession for over 20 years.
Clair Jones, based in our Dorchester office, originally joined Battens in 2016 and was promoted to Paralegal this year. Clair is friendly and approachable and likes to go the extra mile to help clients.
