Jacqui Swann promoted to Senior Associate

Battens Solicitors is delighted to announce the promotion of Jacqui Swann to Senior Associate. This comes after previously announcing 6 other promotions over the summer. Battens is committed to ongoing employee support and development; this shows from how many staff progress their careers with the Southwest based law firm.

Jacqui Swann joined Battens as a Legal Secretary back in 2007 within Property Litigation, over the next couple of years she moved across to the Debt recovery team starting off in the Dorchester office and then returning to the Yeovil office in 2009. In August 2012 Jacqui returned to the Property Dispute Resolution team where she has remained. Jacqui became a fellow of Cilex in June 2018 and in January 2020 was admitted as a Chartered Legal Executive Advocate.

Jacqui has a strong and respected reputation nationwide with agents, local authorities, property developers and those with large property portfolios as well as individuals. She is renowned for her skills and expertise by other local law firms who regularly refer work to her. Jacqui is a recognised expert in her field, speaking at landlord forums and seminars and she has also written a number of articles on the ever-changing rental market.
